The Classy Ava Dress is such a beautiful pattern.

It was very easy to assemble and sew. I just love this dress because is classic and elegant. It is now one of my favourite dresses and I will definitely sew more.

Classy Ava Dress

Alexandra asked me on Instagram to be a tester for her new pattern. I liked the dress very much at the first view and was very excited for this new sewing project.

The pattern includes the seam allowance, which is very comfortable. The instruction and pictures are easy to understand (also for non-native English speakers). The dress is very fast sewn in total.

The length for the sleeves is very nice. My arms are a bit wobbly and the sleeves hide this very well. At first I thought the length is too short, but in comparison to the nice sleeves it makes very long legs, which is quite nice and also workable
for dancing at parties. The pattern fits at the hip very well and makes a nice booty. I have a hollow back and have to adjust the dresses always in the back. I didn’t have this problem with this pattern.

If you need a nice dress for an event, and you have only a few hours for sewing, this pattern is definitely yours.

Classy Ava Dress

I recently tried out Classy Ava Dress from Alessandra Avenue and I have to say, it was such a great experience!

The pattern instructions were clear and easy to follow, even for a beginner like me. I was able to make the garment without any major issues, and it turned out beautifully. But what really stood out to me was the support I received from Alexandra. I had a few questions during the process and they were so helpful

Classy Ava Dress

This pattern is wonderful! The fit is nice and tailored, the instructions are very clear, and even if you have a basic level of English, the technical drawings are very precise.

It sews up quickly, and the only technical difficulty could be the invisible zipper, but with the instructions, it becomes very simple.
